Welcome to Asia Bookroom
This Month at Asia Bookroom
We continue to process the out of print Japanese, Thai and Chinese libraries we bought recently. Some appear below - many are yet to be described. We bought plenty of new books in January on all sorts of parts of Asian topics and regions and a number of these also feature in the selection below.
Our latest catalogue of Asian books for children will be posted out this month. Let us know if you would like a hard copy alternatively you might like to download a
PDF copy.
Have a look at the
children's pages as we have added new sections such Refugees, Indonesian language and more.
February will also see our first Asian book group meeting for 2012. Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami is the book for discussion - for more details visit our
book group page. If you are not in Canberra but would like to establish your own Asian bookgroup we would be delighted to help you with the books and recommendations. An Asia theme book group is unusual I know of no other (if you do please let us know) and it has proven really popular.
Just a small selection of the new arrivals.....
